Media Background Information

Preseli Venture was set up as an adults only adventure venue in 1988 by Nick and Sophie Hurst, two people addicted to spending time in their adventure zone and the wilderness environment.

We passionately believe in the effectiveness of the shared adventure experience in developing relationships, and the improved mental and physical well-being derived from experiencing the natural environment. Since the start of 2005 we have offered a dedicated service to our growing list of corporate clients.

 

Preseli Venture is run by a team of professionals who have a great respect and love for the natural world and is managed systemically to provide a high standard of corporate events, team building and leadership training, accommodation for up to 30, and access to one of Britain's last true wilderness areas.

 

Preseli Venture is committed to becoming an economic force for sustainable use of wilderness areas, such as the Pembrokeshire coast here in West Wales.

 

We are signed up to the Pembrokeshire Outdoor Charter, a group comprising local outdoor adventure and education centres, working closely with the National Park and the National Trust, with the specific aim of adhering to an environmental code of practice to preserve the unique landscape and wildlife of this beautiful, unspoilt coastline. The key is to develop sustainable management of outdoor recreation on the Pembrokeshire Coast.
